 Warren Bird,
who has a great heart for working with innovative pastors and church leaders, is Director of Research. He oversees many of Leadership Network’s research initiatives, intellectual capital development, and internal publications.
Warren has authored many publications for Leadership Network. He has also collaboratively authored a number of books—a total of 21 at present—which includes the book The Multi-Site Church Roadtrip: Exploring the New Normal, which is collaboratively authored with Geoff Surratt and Greg Ligon. It
is part of Leadership Network’s Innovation Series with Zondervan. More titles are listed at www.warrenbird.com.
Warren graduated from Wheaton College (B.A., M.A.), Alliance Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Fordham University
(Ph.D.), and is an ordained minister through the Christian and Missionary Alliance, having served as associate pastor or lead pastor for 14 years.
Warren and his wife Michelle live just outside New York City, and have two grown children.
