100X Staff: Leadership Network and halftime

Dave Travis is Managing Director of Leadership Network. In his current role he leads a large field team that works with innovative churches and ministries across the US, Canada and Europe. Under Dave's leadership, the Leadership Network initiative has helped to nurture the megachurch and other movements in American Christianity through its many programs. A sought after commentator on the issues facing American Churches, Dave has had the privilege of working with hundreds of pastors and leaders of large churches in the US and Canada and is known as a trusted advisor to many of them.

Prior to joining Leadership Network in 1995 Dave was a denominational leader, pastor, church staff member and a consulting engineer, as well as a consultant to multiple congregations on issues of growth and development.  He has coauthored two books, Beyond the Box: Church Innovations that Work (2003) and Beyond Megachurch Myths (2007).  Dave is a management graduate of Georgia Tech and holds an MDiv degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Dave and his wife, Lynne, live in the Atlanta area and have two children.
