Leaders of generous churches understand how to create a culture of generosity. They're passionate about transformation in their people and in the Kingdom.

The Generous Churches Leadership Community is a group of leadership teams from innovative local churches intent on creating cultures of generosity and stewardship. These churches share similar bold goals for growing their ministries over a two year time period.

Acceptance into the Generous Churches Leadership Community is highly selective. Our strategy is to find churches that are innovative, impactful and influential - true high capacity pioneers in the area of stewardship and generosity. Some of the outstanding churches who have participated in the Generous Churches Leadership Community include North Point, Redeemer Presbyterian, Calvary Chapel - Ft. Lauderdale, Bethlehem Baptist and others.

Additionally, each Community is designed to achieve diversity by region and denominational/theological affinity so that innovations eventuating from the community will find true diffusion and acceptance in the broader church world. This will enable us to realize our vision of catalyzing a revolution of generosity and stewardship church-wide.

As part of the two year process, specific measurements are negotiated with the participating churches, then tracked and reported on a semi-annual basis. Because of this, we will be able to measure the true impact of a specific church's intentional efforts to disciple a congregation in the message of biblical generosity, including the real impact of a particular initiative in a specific local church.

If you know of a church that may be a candidate for the Leadership Community process, please contact Christopher Willard using the contact information located to the right.

Avoiding the Money Conflict: How to Ask for Money in a Culture that Has Avoided Fundraising

To do so would conflict with the purpose of the stewardship ministry, which is to communicate what the church wants for its people, not from its people. Learn what some churches have done to successfully navigated the waters of capital campaigns.
